In the garden of Eden

The Angel’s marking time

And the longer she’s with me

The more I know she’s mine

She peers at me sweetly

Through the tangled vine

And she sees right through me

To the end of time

Come with me, where I want to go:

To the promised land

Kingdom of immortal shadow

And burning sands

Fly, child, if your wings are able

To be free

Untie the twisted, knotted tongue

Of your destiny

How you may choose

To take your life from here

Is not up to me

Drink you now of the Grail’s blood:

Your infinity

In the garden of Eden

The Angel’s marking time

And the longer she’s with me

The more I know she’s mine

Come with me, where I want to go:

To the promised land

Kingdom of immortal shadow

And burning sands

Once there was a spirit of the forest

Who would be free

I kissed the lips of this fair maiden

And became me

She and I dwelled in a land

That was free of Time

Now our task is human transformation

Into divine

(Vocalizing)
